There is nothing better than hanging clothes out on the line on a warm and gorgous summer day.
The fresh air! The Sun! (we had several days of rain so this is a nice break from all the rain that we have had.)
I whatched teen cribs on mtv this morning, Some of those houses are so huge I would get lost in them. I love how our house isn't overly fancy and not overly huge but it is big enough! Guest can come in a feel relaxed and welcome. If I were a guest in some of those houses I would not feel relaxed, at all. The older I get the more I enjoy the simple things, like the smell of clothes after they have been line dried, Or a simple cup of coffee and a good book or a good friend.
In our busy lifes how often do we slow down and enjoy the little stuff? We are so focused on living the American dream, that often we don't stop and realize that the American dream isn't about having a lot of money, it's about spending time with friends and family and not taking our freedom for granted. Isn't that truly the American dream?
