Being creative

I have spent my afternoon/morning being creative I made a little cartoon character based off of Gollum... His name is Crash.

I would post a pic however it is on my computer and I am typing this on my iPad so I can't post it.
Monday I drew a Monkey named Mink...it turned out cute.

Oh and I got my room cleaned yesterday evening so that's good. Not a whole lot going on this week.
A light week really.

Work

Well it's safe to say I got nothing done today. I had to work early this morning and got home a little after three where I promptly came home and crashed. I did feed the dogs and it's my dish night since levi is out on a date with miss manders (Amanda ).

I need to clean my room after supper. Blah...not much fun but it needs to be done. I have art stuff scattered everywhere. I will just Put in a cd...maybe dig out my monkees cd. LOL yes I own a Monkees cd..don't judge.

Yet Another day off

Yep I got myself another day off of work. :)
So What am I doing right now? I am Finally drawing and listening to Celine Dion, like I said I was going to do in the last post but somehow time got away from me.

I was reading some William Bryant poetry... and man we just don't have half the langue today that we used to...I mean just read this poem and look at how well it is spoken.

Randomness

I'm not liking this new interface of bloggers...but I figured I might as well try and get used to it seeing how I'm not going to be given a choice in a couple days. I am just a person of habit, I like my routines.

Today is a chilly autum day here in Indiana. Nice day for hot coffee maybe even hot coco and a good book or a pen and paper.
 I played more guitar last night, I've been trying to practice everyday but I'm still struggling with my timing on a few songs. Maybe you'll get a video soon of me playing once I get the song down pat.

I think I am going to practice my guitar today. I've been working on learning a few songs. Love can build a bridge, the version the Judd's sing.

And Jolene - by Dolly Parton...and the song In the arms of an angel by Sarah McLachlan.

Once I get them down and my voice up to snuff I will post a video of me playing and singing one of the songs I mentioned.

Momma made a cake from scratch last night icing and all....it was so very yummy! Mom and the rest of the family agreed that we are done with the box mix cakes. Hummm...I wonder if I can convince her to make a German chocolate cake and the icing from scratch.

Another Monday, another week.

One of those days where you just don't want to get moving.

Why are Mondays so hard? Anybody know?

Sunday was fun I had to get up early because I sang I the praise team yesterday, but It was fun I got to wear my new dress. I'm getting there on the being more girly. I even did my own hair yesterday. I'm finding the joys of a straight iron. I'm getting there when it comes to wearing more make up.

I had an awesome time shopping with mom on Tuesday, and I found me a dress that I love!

We first saw it at J C penny they had it in every other size but mine. Then I decided I wanted to go to T. J max and see it cause I hadn't been to the new one in Richmond....then I saw it the exact same dress minus a belt but other than that it was the same...well except they had one in my size!

They even had a bumble bee outfit for Gollum....Jake tried it on and Jake looked adorable in it but jake doesnt like clothes Gollum does, though.

Why is focus so hard to find right now? Maybe it was the crazy yet fun weekend.

Saturday I went dress shopping with Amanda, Brenda ( her mom), Rita ( her grandma), Tonia, ( a close friend of Brenda that has known Amanda a long time.) Corinne, Kendra, and Reghan. Amanda picked out a beautiful dress! She. Is going to be such a pretty bride.

After dress shopping we ate at the cheesecake factory, can you say heaven in a slice?

Then Sunday we went to church, had lunch then levi and I sang at milton days I cut out early though to go to work, well I better go.

Finally a day off, it seems like the work week lasted forever! I have not been too good about updating, but there has been much happen around here, thank goodness drama is never a good thing.

Dad is on vacation this week so he has been hanging out with mom and I. :)

The boys (aka the dogs) are doing good, Jake is a lot better now he gave us a little scare about a month ago.

I have not been blogging much. I have been working on painting and reading my bible more...and making cards, plus my hours at work have been more here lately.

Jake gave us a good scare last week he had triads and was very sick Monday when we took him to the vet, but Thursday he was able to come home and he is doing great. He has a follow up appointment tomorrow.

Mom and dad bought a 2012 Honda fit....and might I say I thought I didn't like to drive, but I love driving that little car.

Life

Okay so life has been crazy here lately I have been pulling more hours then I usually do. Plus some family drama. As far as writing I haven't wrote much. I did a couple paintings but that's about it. Hello

Sorry I have not been updating the blog as much here lately. I have been pretty busy here lately.

Nothing new really it has been the same ol same ol around here.

I got the day off today though Levi and miss Amanda r having their birthday party tonight so I ask for the day off.

Overall a pretty productive day I did my hair, went to the bank then I mopped when I came home (mom had swept, she was really modocking early this morning laundry done and pretty much hung up before I even woke up.)

Gollum has been behaving. Rare.

FYI did u know that yesterday was Celine Dion's birthday?

I had a nice day off yesterday and a nice day off today. However it back to the old grind tomorrow and I am not ready to go back to work.Lol

I got the back yard mowed today. Crazy that we are mowing in march

It's almost wednesday

I can't wait for my day off tomorrow. I'm wearing out lol.

I think I might look around on fiverr .com tomorrow, it's a website where people ofer to do stuff for five dollars and anyone can post. Pretty cool.

I might draw out a picture to paint on Thursday don't know yet.

I need to write some too I haven't submitted anything for march yet. With all the hours I'm working once I do get a day off I don't want to think about anything or do anything that requires a lot of brain power.

What Friday already?

Well the week went fast and now it is back to work for me.

We watched fireproof then movie with Kirk Camron. It was a very good movie.

Levi should be coming home for lunch soon. Which is good cause I am starting g to get hungry.

I've not really got much done today. Later on mom and I are going to the store but I am not sure when. I got to do. Y Hebrews study and make some dog food tonight.

Well last day off the week

Got to go back to work tomorrow and probably sat and sunday too. Don't know yet.

I did some water color painting today did one of Adele one of my best ones yet. However not very realistic I joked with dad that its my most realistic drawing of a cartoon. I was going for real life.

Today was beautifulish the morning started out rainy and the afternoon was sunny then about five there was a dark cloud right over us. But we never actually got any rain. I did hear some distant thunder but that was it.

Peaceful morning

I had a nice peaceful morning. Jake (my oldest dog) and I went outside for a little bit but it was still to chilly so we indeed up just snuggling on the flip flop. Then I fed jake and Gollum, after that I helped mom put the clothes on the line.

Spring has sprung here in Indiana! As a result we are going to be getting some rain tomorrow.

But while it's still sunny dad is going to grill out tonight!

Wal mart adventures and Starbucks

Had a good time hanging out in Richmond with Amanda and Levi. We went out to eat a Wendy's and then we went to starbucks for some coffee. Indeed up setting in the car cause there was not even one seat free at Starbucks. Then it was off to wal mart where I spent too much lol.

I got a Frank Sinatra cd at Wally world. Im liking it so far! I never really took the time to set down and listen to his stuff before.

I slept in today, I woke up with a cold so I felt a little rough, so I thought I would sleep in a little bit. To see of that would help, it didn't help much. I have to work tonight.

Oh my gosh

My oh my where has the week gotten to? It has just sped by like crazy.

Tomorrow is supposed to be nice and warm so I am going to try and get jake washed before I have to go to work or that night.

I got up early today but I just kinda laid around/sat on the couch whatched some tv and just kinda chilled.

Then went to work. I hope we are fairly busy tomorrow so the time doesn't drag on and on. But I think I am finally starting to get used to the five day weeks. Lol

Fun

Had a good night with Levi tonight. We hung out a bit and talked about where we saw monk music heading in the next ten years. Drank our Starbucks yummy, then we went to Walmart and picked up a few things that we needed to buy. Looked at the clearance aisle. Levi bought Gollum a dog toy that was a rubber tire...it looks pretty tough so we will see how long it last.

I have to work tomorrow...not a big shock there I have been working Saturday nights for a month or two now. Not that it matters it's really all the same to me.

On a side note is anyone else addicted to the game words with friends?

I totally am Granted I lose half the time but I still love that game.

Maybe it will help my spelling skills.

It's a gloomy rainy day Here in Monkville.

I have a serious case of I don't want to. I have to make the dog food and I really don't want to. I have dishes in there and I don't want to do them. To tell the truth I just want to sit around and do nothing. But the dogs have to eat they get kinda cranky when they don't eat.

Yep I really shouldn't be blogging right now I should be getting everything done.

But I'm not I'm setting here dreading all the work that I put off yesterday.

Well I should stop dreading it and just do it and maybe I can have some chill time later on.

Finally!

It's finally Wednesday! It's the last day of work and then two days off! I can't wait, I'm starting to wear out. lol

I got lunch dishes done and submitted the poem to the poetry contest at blue Mountain cards.

My goal this year is to submit something each month. January was through a contest at work and February will be this blue mountain contest. Although, I might submit another one sometime in March to blue mountain I won't count that as submitting a poem because I made it a rule that it has to be to a different place every month or at least one I've not submitted to in a while.

Anywho I will let you go now. I will keep you posted on more later.

Crazy day

It was kind of a crazy day yesterday we took a trip into brazil.

Brazil, IN not the country. Anyways so we went and visited grandma judy, grandpa densford, anut Lena and grandma W. We didn't spend a lot of time at one place so while it was a good visit it was a very fast visit.

Right now I am nursing a cup of coffee and wait for the dog food to be done. The boys (Jake and Gollum) are having hamburger, with rice, peas, carrots, and broccoli.

I think tomorrow I might post a poem on here.

A busy day

Yesterday was a busy day...we moved a few things around and got rid of some furniture plus cleaned the house and of course we did some laundry.

Today mom says she has laundry coming out of her ears.

Levi should be coming home to eat lunch with us soon. I'm glad cause I'm hungry already today.

Today is my long day at work....but after today three days off so I'm glad for that!

Adventures at midnight

Well Levi sure does have a knack for catching nails with his tires. At Twelve thirty Levi calls he was in a parking lot in connersville (about a half hour away from us) he ran over a nail and he needs to change the tire. Ten minutes later he calls back he needs help he can't get the lug nut loose. So dad gets up out of bed and gets dressed real quick to go and get him.

I went with dad to help keep him awake. So with a team effeort from Levi and dad they got the lug nut loose. ( it was an old lug nut and was rounded out) So at about two in the morning we got home. Poor papa was tired this morning.

Well I did it. I finally decided to bite the bullet. I got an ipad2 !

Last night Levi and I went to best buy just to look. I didn't just look I was going to just look.

Happy Valentines Day!

I personally never really got why we celebrate valentines day. We should be showing everyone love, that we love them every single day. Not by flowers that die or teddy bears that collect dust, nor by chocolate, But by our actions. It's the simple things that speak the loudest.

I have to work today...I mean I get to work today! I like my job I really do, but I'm so not motivated today. Is anyone else having that problem? It's just cold and gray outside, I didn't want to get out from under the covers today.

I better get going I have to leave for work in a bit.

Work today went well. I wore myself out! Time went fast and I got several more days to go til my next day off.

A New post today!

YEAH!

So I am going to enter another poetry contest this one is through Blue Mountain cards. I havn't written anything for it yet, but I am going to soon. I just have to get inspired. I've been trying to write something everyday most days its just dribble to try and clear my mind. lol

In More exciting news I finally got to where I can paint decent looking roses with water color! Yeah!!!! I even painted a bowl of fruit that I was pretty happy with. Not the best painting in the world, but one of my best. I'm going to get a folder to put all my paintings in cause I can't keep all of them on the wall not enough wall space. LOL Don't think I will be able to sell them not quite good enough for that, unless they want abstract that was supposed to be still life.

Don't know if I will work on my Jake and Gollum comic today or tonight, I will just have to see how the rest of the day goes.

Well I better let you go. Gollum is tried and ready to go to bed for a few days.

I better take him out and pick up his toys. (It's Jake's turn to be out now. Gotta love the life of two dogs that don't get along but live in the same house.)

Hey

How is every one? I'm really really good! I have a few things to do today. I've learned how to crochet, yesterday working on Christmas projects already. I am going to learn how to sew I think, should be a practical skill to learn. I know how to whip stitch and all but as for using a sewing machine I haven't the slightest clue how to use it.

I got taxes done yesterday, YEAH one less thing I have to worry about. Well I'd better be going I've got to wash the dogs and the dog bowls today too....lol lots of little things I'm telling you.

But Gollum has been washed so I just have to wash Jake yet. I was going to pick up the yard today but kinda rainy so I'm going to try tomorrow morning.

Breathing room!

I finally got my closet cleaned out and organized! YEAH I really am trying my hardest to keep things simple. Things can easily take over a person's home, and invade their space. Mom and I actually went through the entire house, decluttering and Reorganizing closets.

Yahoo posted an article about a lady that lives without money she lives a nomadic life style where she trades services like gardening, therapy sessions (She is a therapist) ect. for a place to stay and food. She said it was very liberating she has been living like this for 16 years! WOW! She wrote a book on it, and everything she makes goes to charity! Still you have to wonder about her safety, she doesn't know the people she is staying with, they are just strangers that she meets and then does some gardening for, still though an interesting thought could you go 16 years without spending anything?
