Where did my mojo go?

I afraid my get up and go has gone away, today is quiet the dreary day even the dogs are feeling the effects of it. Gollum laid in the couch chewing his bone and when he was bored of that he laid there whimpering. At one point his bone fell of the couch and he stared at it a while wondering if it was even worth retriving, he decided it was worth it and jumped down to get it.

I'm going to spend the day knitting, writting and drawing. As long as I can stay focused. :p
Well wish me luck on this grey day.

Winter storm

Old man winter is threatening us once again. Clouds have filled the air and rain is falling as winter prepares for the last of it's storms for the year. In the house all is quiet both dogs are napping mom is writing, dad is at work and I am sitting here on the couch. After a good morning of writing I'm setting  here playing with my iPad and spacing out really.

Tomorrow morning at four am it is back to the old grind. Work work eat sleep write. That's been my focus lately. I'm in the middle of a rough draft for a book so far it's a short book but a book none the less. I've even been working on a skit problem is that I have so many ideas and can't write fast enough to get them all on paper!

Got to go.

A much welcomed change

Today I awoke a few minutes before my alarm, the sun was shining through the blinds a welcome change from the gloomy weather we had been having. A quick shower and it was off to feed the dogs and then outside to pick up the yard, birds were chirping and sun was shinning, the frost was still holding on to the ground. While signs of spring were starting to peek out of the ground, my tulip is starting to peer out of the dirt and the snowball bush (I think it's a snowball bush.)  is also starting to pop out of the earth.  Scenes like these often make me think how nice it would be to have a large piece of earth to garden in one that would take a while to walk through, then I quickly remember my past attempts to garden and realize that I don't have a green thumb. I don't even have a light green thumb.

It's off to go clean the house, sweeping and mopping are calling me.
