I finally took some pics of my creative journal.. Here they are:

This was my very first creative journal entry it was done with a glue stick and magazine clippings 

Same for this next one

(These are all in order of how they are in the journal)

My bro and sister in law 's wedding invite that was in the church bulletin.

Gum wrappers and a cool M&m ad that I clipped from a magazine.

A drawing I did.

These pages were after I got some cool ideas and some of these pages are still works in progress

 This one is a mix of me drawing

 and 

magazine clippings/junk mail.

Some close ups of this page the mini scenes are paintings with watercolors that I painted

 

I was quite pleased with the  window I used a junk envelope that I got in the mail u know the clear windows envelopes have.

I love the little minions from despicable me so I printed these and glued them in 

The gru and every thing you see on the page minus the middle minion I drew.

Not sure what I'm doing with this last page the tree I painted with acrylics and the silver in the back is a silver sharpie (those things are fun FYI)

Cold

Well this cold is kicking my butt...however there was no truck yet so I didn't  have to get up early which is good seeing how I didn't sleep well last night.

I didn't work on my creative journal yesterday but I did get some painting done. Today I have to make dog food and I don't plan on doing much more than that.

I guess I better go now hopefully when I get feeling better I will have a blog post with a little more meat in it.

No work today

The truck got delayed so I didn't have to get up at 3 am and go in to work at 4am.
Think I'm going to work some more on the creative journal... I know I need to post pics, but the pages never seem to be finished. Lol I always find something to add to.

Still have this cold...yesterday I did nothing but sleep and eat and still not much better. :/ I'm impatient lol.

Snow

Church was cancelled today due to weather conditions. So today we are spending a relaxing morning at home. I straighten my room up and found my copy of The Hobbit after watching both of the hobbit movies I decided that I needed to reread the hobbit. (Cause I can't remember what happend in the book and what Peter Jackson added lol.)

So pretty soon I'm going to post some pics of my creative journal.

A new year a new blog!

Well 2014 is here and in full swing. I'm working on a new paint for mom it's a snowy church scene.
Having a little trouble with it though, I can't quite get the backround trees to look right. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.  :( I hope that I can figure it out soon though.
